A quieter path to living what you know is true.

For much of my life, I knew how to keep going. I knew how to care for others, hold responsibility, and move through difficult seasons with strength and determination.  What I didn't always know was how to remain in contact with myself while doing so.

Like many woman, I spent years responding to what was needed, carrying what mas mine to carry and often much, much more.  Somewhere along the way, I began asking different questions:

  • How do I live with greater honesty?
  • How do I listen more deeply?
  • How do I make choices that align with what I know to be true?

To find the answers takes practice.  It became a practice of slowing down, paying attention, remaining in relationship to what matters.

That practice became Stillness & Contact.

Stillness & Contact is not about becoming someone new.  It is an invitation to create space, listen deeply and live from a more truthful place.

Through writing, guided somatic practices, and handcrafted malas, I create experiences that support women in reconnecting with themselves and the lives they want to live.

My work

For more than 20 years, my work has lived at the intersection of embodiment, spirituality, personal growth and human development. My approach has been informed by years of study and practice in:

  • Polarity-based approaches to embodiment and relational awareness
  • Trauma-informed empowerment and self-defense education
  • Somatic and contemplative practices
  • Group facilitation, coaching, and community leadership
  • The study of how people move from survival into greater choice and agency

I have spent more than a decade studying The Great Reconnection, a body of work created by Suzanne Roberts of Unifying Solutions and author of the book: It's Deeper Than That

This work has deeply informed my understanding of stillness, longing, neutrality and agency.

What I believe

I believe that many of us do not need more information.  We need more space, more honesty and more moments of quiet attention. I believe that wisdom arrives softly and the truth is easier to hear when we slow down.  For me that is a meaningful life  built on one small, soul-led choice at a time.
